Hi Troy,

Let me start off by introducing myself, my name is Jeremy and I'm a customer service representative here at ACTIVEAID. We are a smaller company with only 2 others in Customer Service, Barb is our Director of Customer Service, then 3rd in line is Cindy. I also want to apologize for any bad experience you have recived from anyone here at ACTIVEAID. We would like to get some information from you on your ACTIVEIAD device. The serial number would be a great start, and also what VA medical center you ordered the chair or parts through.
Unfortunately we have never used a stainless steel bearing for any of our models, the price would be much greater for stainless. We also have been working on a newer seat, it is called the Comfortuff series. These are a black molded urethene foam. It may prove to be more durable then the ensolite seat you more then likely have. Everyone is different in the way they sit and position themselves, but we are here to help, so please call with any questions you may have. When it comes to ordering, we have always had a Durable Medical Equipment Dealer place the order. Clients or end-users, like yourself, cannot order directly from us.
Thank you and visit us on the web. www.activeaid.com, toll free # 800-533-5330
