ActiveAid, LLC. (referred to herein as “ActiveAid,” “Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy and we assure that we take the protection of your personal information very seriously. ActiveAid may collect information from Covered Entities (as defined at 45 C.F.R. §160.103), and such information may include Protected Health Information as defined under 45 C.F.R. §160.103 (“PHI”) to the extent received by ActiveAid acting as a Business Associate through our web-based application (Justify It) and pursuant to our Business Associate Agreement (“BAA”). PHI may be subject to protections under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA) and the Health Information Technology for Economic and Clinical Health Act of 2009 (HITECH). Covered Entities may not provide information to us that is PHI or in any way subject to HIPAA or HITECH without our advance consent, and all such disclosures must be pursuant to our BAA. As to PHI, to the extent there is a conflict between the terms of this Privacy Policy and the terms of our BAA, the terms of our BAA shall supersede the terms of this Privacy Policy and apply as to such PHI.

Web Beacons – We may employ Web beacons (also called single-pixel gifs), which are customized links or similar technologies, on the Site and when sending you messages, newsletters, or promotional e-mails or in using third party service providers. If you request your information to be removed from our databases and it is removed, you will lose access to tools such as the Justify It registration system.
Security – We take commercially reasonable steps to protect data, information, transmitted through the Site. We cannot and do not ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to us or from our online products or services. You transmit information to us at your own risk and should take all necessary precautions regarding the information you transmit, either to the Site or elsewhere on the Internet.
Children – Protecting the privacy of children is very important to us. For that reason, the Site does not solicit, collect or maintain personally identifiable information from users we actually know are under age 13.
